This series of rods feature Calstar Grafighter graphite-composite blanks. This is the rod that we recommend for those who are looking for a high performance rod with a little bit of fiberglass in it for extra durability.Ā ThoughĀ not quite as light and sensitive as ourĀ high performance graphite series rods, these rodsĀ are a fast action live bait style rod that is meant to have a little more strength built into them for purposes like snag & drop style fishing, andĀ more “abusive”Ā lure fishing (think big bluefish).
ToĀ give a traditional style blank a more modern feel, we useĀ Fuji K-Frame Alconite guides. This series features a gimbaled Fuji rubber butt cap, Fuji reel seat, low profile shrink tube on the rear, and an ergonomicĀ EVA foam foregrip. Available for immediate order in our “standard” color-way of metallic blue, black, and gold.
